Lessons and Pricing

Instrumental instruction is available in guitar and ukulele (all levels and styles) and beginning mandolin and banjo. We also provide the highest quality acoustic instruments, supplies and services at the best prices.

Beginner lessons meet for one half-hour weekly.  Half-hour lessons cost $15/week. Intermediate and advanced students have the option of meeting every other week for one hour.  One-hour lessons cost $30.

Instruments & Supplies

We offer an array of acoustic instruments including: guitars, banjos, mandolins, ukuleles and more.  An “at cost” set up is available on all instruments.

In addition to a wide selection of acoustic music supplies, we also offer instructional books and DVDs.

Students who keep up a weekly lesson schedule receive a discount on all instruments, instructional materials, and supplies.

Teaching Style

Lessons are student focused and uninterrupted, with an emphasis on creating musicians that can play a variety of styles and become self-learners.  Scott provides a student centered and relaxed teaching environment that provides direction and encouragement while recognizing student goals and needs.

While attention is paid to technique and understanding, the primary purpose of lessons is to make music and have fun!  Opportunities for students to share their talent with their family, friends and neighbors are available, but not required.
